The Journey of Holy Week

Dear Church Family,

It is finally here- Holy Week! Our Lenten journey has led us to the most sacred and powerful days of our Christian faith. This is the week that changed everything-a journey from the shouts of “Hosanna!” on Palm Sunday to the sorrow of the cross on Good Friday, and finally to the joy and victory of Easter morning.

Holy Week invites us to slow down, to reflect deeply on the love of Christ, and to remember the cost of our redemption. It is a sacred path-from the upper room to the garden, from the crucifixion to the tomb-and each day brings us closer to the heart of God.

I invite you to join us for our special services throughout the week, either in-person or online through our YouTube and Facebook pages:

  • Maundy Thursday 4/17, 6:30pm, Sanctuary: A moving service of communion and remembrance as we recall the Last Supper and Jesus’ command to love and serve one another.
  • Good Friday 4/18, 6:30pm, Wesley Centre: A solemn and powerful time of worship as we reflect on the suffering and sacrifice of our Savior on the cross.
  • Easter Sunday 4/20, 9am and 11am: A joyful celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the new life we have in Him!

Let us not simply remember these events-we are invited to enter them. To walk with Jesus. To come and sit at the Lord’s Table. To feel the weight of the cross. And to rise with Him in glorious victory. Don’t miss this week. Come ready. Come expectant. Come and encounter the living Christ.

If the tomb is empty, then anything is possible!
