Sound Technician

Position Summary:  The Sound Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the audio systems used during worship services, rehearsals, and special events. This includes managing microphones, mixing consoles, speakers, and recording devices to ensure clear and balanced sound in the Sanctuary, Wesley Centre, and for livestreamed or recorded services.  The technician works closely with pastors, worship leaders, and musicians to create a seamless worship experience by adjusting audio levels in real time and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. This role requires strong attention to detail, a good ear for sound, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Director of Family Ministries

Position Summary:  The Director of Family Ministries is a dynamic, faith-filled leader who will oversee and grow the ministries of children, youth, and families at the First United Methodist Church of Plant City. This person will create a welcoming, engaging, and spiritually nurturing environment for families, guiding children and youth to develop a personal and lasting faith in Jesus Christ. This is a part-time position designed to support both existing programming and intentional growth in family ministries.
